What makes these apartments an uncomfortable place to live is the absolute horrible management that runs the complex (one in particular).The main person in charge of these apartments rules these apartments as if he/she is Hitler or Saddam.

We were constantly getting harassed with letters (this included everyone) over things like trash bags on the patio (there was only 1 dumpster for the whole complex which would over flow with garbage and stink up the complex), shoes on the patio, picking up after your dog, etc.

The pool was disgusting most of the time it was opened. They never cleaned it and there was always dirt and leaves in the pool.When you could tolerate the pool, the management harassed you about having your passes.One time on the way to the pool I stopped at the office to give management my rent check.I then proceeded to the pool when 15 minutes later the same manager came and asked me for my pass.She made me leave the pool, after I just gave them my rent, and requested that I go and get my pass.By the way, I was only one of two people in the pool at the time.

People actually brought their pets to the fitness center (disgusting).Nothing like trying to work out with the odors of urine and sweat mixed together.

If you plan on getting your deposit back, forget it.I can name at least 5 people (including myself) who lost their deposit and were charged extra fees for something or another.I will admit there was some damage to my apartment, but their charges were totally unfair. I know no one that ever got their deposit back.This is the first time that I didn't get at least part of my deposit back.

DON'T USE THE FIREPLACE.I called maintenance because the fireplace had no ventilation and smoke was getting into the apartment.They told me that they all do that.So I started asking around and looked at a few other apartments and they were right, most apartment walls had areas of soot on it.This is one of the damages that I was charged for.Management tried to say that it was smoke damage from cigarettes, but there was no damage in the bedroom or bathroom.Just by the fireplace.I think I was charged something like 500 bucks for that alone.Later on, management said that using starting logs also caused the damage (put it in the lease then, honey).
