Apartment Review for Brandywine Apartments - Lexington, KY

Our experience at Brandywine was horrible. At first things seem well until you are coming close to ending your lease. Then they could careless about you and just want your money. We were approaching the end of our lease and were in the process of buying a house when they offered us to rent month to month with an extra charge of $100 a month. We decided this would work best for us, until they called a month later and said they tried to rent our apartment out but our stuff was still in it. Apparently they do not offer a month to month service, but they do offer a 2 month at a time service. (Once again they do not care about their attendants.) The reason why they have a two month rental period is because you have to give a 30 day written notice that youll be out in 30 days. So if you want to rent two months at a time youll have to go in every month and sign a paper saying you want to rent the apartment for another month. They their policy is also that they do not give any of your rent money back no matter out nice the apartment is when you leave it. In fact when we moved out ours was 100% cleaner than when we moved in, yet they still charged us for items such as re-calking the bathtub, and cleaning the fridge. ???? Very Bad EXPERIENCE!
