Apartment Review
Toilet from Hell, Laundry Problems, Run down

I have lived in Brandywine from June 05 to present.

If you want a downstairs apartment you have to deal with alot of noise, so I picked an upstairs apartment, however they don't offer washers and dryers. Now I have to use the laundry room. Which has 14 washers and 14 dryers for 268 apartments. This means that if you want to do laundry you might just have to wait for them to become free. And then once washers are free there is no garauntee that a dryer will be free.

Also, the place is a little run down. Paint chips off everywhere, and instead of scrape it off they just paint over it which looks horrible. The carpets in the apartment was stained terribly when I moved in and I'm afraid they are going to think I did it when i move out, I hear that the management is very vindictive and NEVER gives back a deposit.

I have the toilet from HELL. This thing clogs up with #1. It is redicuous. I have to plunge it 5 times a day. They came in to look at it 4 times now, and even replacing the previous toilet from hell didn't resolve the problem. they said it must be down in the lines and they'd have to rip out walls to fix it. (which means I couldn't live there while they did it).

They LOST my deposit when I first moved in and then said they would need another. After about a week of phone calls I was able to prove to them they'd received the money.

We just resigned the lease at 635 a month and I know people who are moving into an identical apartment in the same complex that they are gonna charge $450 a month.

There is alot of noise, such as late night parties, dogs barking, little kids running around screaming, not to mention the fact that they only seem to do any construction or repair work at 7am on saturday morning with all the assosiated hammer and drilling sounds that are great to wake up to.

The management is pretty snotty and not very helpful.

Overall, I can't wait to get out of this lease and move out of this place.
