Apartment Review for Chinoe Creek - Lexington, KY

Maintenance here seems great. Complained of a minor problem and they not only fixed it but left a note asking for more info in case it didnt solve the problem.

Condition- internally the apts are ok. Good carpet. No broken drywall etc. The hallways and balconies are pretty bad. Wood is old, split, just worn out. On the other hand from the outside the complex is pretty at night. Though probably because they'd be shut down if not (Lexington is a stunning town visually and id bet "dumps" get shut down fast by the city). One big negative my appt at least has light tan carpet. You so much as sneeze and the carpet looks filthy. Why anyone would choose that color for an appt is beyond me. Plan on using your shampooer a Lot.

People- it really is neighborly for an appt complex. The people who live here are truely friendly and at least in my building we've always gotten along great.

Staff- rude as all the other reviews said. Theyre nice til you come to them with a problem et al then they get nasty. Dont get me wrong i like the apartments if theyd fix these problems. New management company and fix up the entry wells.

Price- despite claims to the contrary this place is a little expensive for what you're getting. It has a nice ambience which probably explains it, but the rent is high. Yes if you're used to $900 a month i guess this is "cheap" but these are basically "college" apartments with some decent landscaping tacked on.

Location- excellent. period.

overall: im out when the lease is up. I wouldnt rent here again and would reccomend against it. This place is a money drain from hell.
