Apartment Review for Dogwood Village - Lexington, KY

Was first shown a very nice unit, would have taken it. The manager (Armando) said that was already spoken for, and another would be available at the end of the month. Was shown the available one - on the ground floor/basement level - after waiting three weeks. The back door was broken and didn't lock properly; the screens on the screen door had all been slashed; the bedroom window was badly broken (shards of broken glass hanging there). Armando said they were not going to be fixing these things. Dead roaches everywhere and a big hole in the bathroom ceiling - it was implied but not stated that they'd take care of that. Did not even take the apartment. Managed by Modern Property Management. Slumlords.
