Great price but the management suxx

Do you want to check my words? OK go there and try to apply! No doubts, the apartments are probably the cheapest within 2 miles range. 345+elecricity, and 400+electricity is good enough. They offer 1 and 2 berdroom units. Pretty roomy, relatively clean. In my case the furniture and the floor in the kitchen were sticky, and smelly, the door-lock in the bathroom was not working, the candies and chewing-gums got stuck in bedroom-carpet, but that was bearable. I didnt expect more. They have an on-site laundry facility, with a coin-washers and driers, but no coin-machine (you have to collect the quaters :)) They have a small pool on the property, which is nice and clean, but never works according to declared schedule. The maintenance man always opens it on hour later, and closes on an hour before (if no one is there) the declared time. Now, lets get to the main point. The management. Be ready: they do not accept the application earlier than 24 days before the moving-in date. And they dont care that you have to present 30 days moving-out notice to your current landlord. They will never show you the apartment before you apply and your application is approved. In order to apply you need to present the proof of financial capabilities and the reference from your previous landlord. Thus, you never know what you are applying for unless you have a friend staying at their property. The manager is the the evil. She will talk to you like if you owe her at least $500, for a year already. I never saw the rudest manager at any propery I've been staying. If you're married (ar want to live with roommate) and trying to apply for one-bedroom she will wash your brain for 10 minutes claiming that you need two-bedroom unit, because of bunch of stupid reasons, and she is in this business for 15 years and never saw 2 people liwing in one-bedroom apartment (which is lie)... and they strongly discourage that and bla-bla-bla... I was staying in two-bedroom. My lease was about to expire, and I asked them to move me into one-bedroom (my roommate was going to move out). At first she told me that they can not do that, because such are the rules, because they never do that (I was ready to pay extra-fee for this). :), Later she told me that they will try, but I have to put my inqury in writing... Well, it didnt help anyway, they told me that they dont have anything when I came next time. the conclusion: you can save some money by staying there, but you better think twice... |
