Apartment Review
As a last resort
Review Date: 9/4/2007 Reviewer: Anonymous
When we first got to the apartment there weren't enough keys for every roommate. Within the first hour we discovered that the biggest burner on the stove was broken [one month later it's STILL not been fixed] the overhead fan in the dinning room didn't work [one month later it STILL hasn't been fixed] the paneling under the kitchen sink had completely fallen off, the master bedroom window fell out of the slide, the master bathroom shower was clogged and had broken shards of glass in it, the dishwasher was not secured properly and came out of the counter a bit when opened, the dishwasher soap dispenser didn't close all the way and the dishwasher doesn't clean dishes [even after I bought dishwasher cleaner and jet dry for the rinse cycle], one of the electrical outlets didn't work properly and shocked one of my roommates twice, the biggest burner on the stove was fixed temporarily but broke again after we tried to turn on a second burner [it shot sparks out of the knob and knocked out all of the power in the apartment]. Also, we were told that rent for a 3 bedroom was $1,020 a month and after we turned in our checks for the first month we were told that it's $1,030. |
