Apartment Review for Newtown Crossing - Lexington, KY

The office staff are completely incompetent. Every single one! I had been discussing moving in with a manager for months. I told him the date I would arrive and he said that there would be no problem. That everything would be settled and ready when I arrived. I arrived when he had already gone for the day, but the office was still open, and not a single person in the office was aware that I was coming. Another thing that set me off was when they just changed the locks out of nowhere. Have we heard of e-mailing? Last time I checked, it was 2009! They said they slipped a paper underneath everyones door to inform them (wtf? kill enough trees already!. I had been at my apartment the entire day till five to go to work. I get a call from my roommate who was co-oping that semester. He asks if they have changed the locks due to him not being able to get into the apartment. We had to call pop-a-lock and there was no fucking piece of paper. When I informed the office, they ALL gave me a look as though I was lying! They reimbursed me, but after having to argue with them for thirty minutes. Thanks assholes! Oh, and if you have any pets. Newtown is no pets allowed. They'll give other people warnings to get rid of them, and make other people pay the outrageous fee. People have dogs and cats, on top of that, more than one, but somehow these people never got caught? The office is full of skeezy mother fuckers and have access to your apartment any time. I have another year of school and although newtown is convenient. I hate the people in the office so much I'm moving to university village.
