Apartment Review for Oak Grove Apartments - Lexington, KY

I've lived at Oak Grove for a VERY short time. Already I've had several things go wrong, including the latest disaster, flooding from a burst water main in the apartment upstairs. The water was RIDICULOUS, and I was actually forced to sleep elsewhere while they tried to clean up the mess. The water leakage was so extensive it was coming out around the light switches and the thermostat. I understand that these things happen, but at this point they're basically just putting blowers in my apartment to "dry things up." I'm REALLY concerned about mold and electrical damage since the water was mostly in the walls and ceiling... All in all, Oak Grove is a beautiful community. The people are very nice, though the apartments are definitely over-priced. It's not a bad place at all...as long as nothing goes wrong! The maintenance staff aren't exactly great, so if something does go wrong...expect to fight to get treated right!
