Apartment Review for Shadeland Crescent Apartments - Lexington, KY

You would be better off living in a dorm at UK. This place is a joke. I have been living here less than 2 months and already I have had things stolen from me, the cable doesn't work, and there are barking dogs every day at 5am. Manager (Amanda S.) doesn't return e-mails or phone calls. She'll tell you that it's a nice neighborhood, very quiet...etc. when you walk through the apartments but she is lying to your face! If I wanted to live in conditions like these, I would be paying HALF the price and living downtown. Don't let the manager fool you! You WILL regret moving in here. We were told construction would be wrapped up soon. That was almost 2 months ago and there are still construction dumpsters everywhere and workers pounding away at all hours. Manager does not screen tenants...everyone she has moved in to this place is NOT the people you wanna live near. Loud, Disrespectful, Rude, Thieves. Good luck doing your laundry here, people WILL steal your clothes. So you have to stand guard in front of the washing machine so your stuff doesn't get jacked. I lived in a college dorm for 2 years and never had 1 thing stolen. I live here for not even 2 months and my $148 skirt gets swiped right out of the washing machine. Stay away from this place...you DO NOT wanna live here.
