Apartment Review for Stoney Falls Apartments - Lexington, KY

I posted this review on apartment ratings.com too. They tell you that only the most bitter tenants write these reviews but I take a different perspective. Most people are apathetic; perhaps it is the people that care the most about decency and respect that post. It sounds good and looks good when you move in but they only do the minimum to help you. When they knocked out my wall to put in a new heating and cooling system, they left white dust all over the apartment (literally everywhere = walls, computer, white particles deep in the carpet). It took me a week to clean the walls and floors completely. I was left with a dry cough for 2 months. Now, you might say well that is an isolated incident of criminal neglect. They also have a penchant for leaving broken appliances in your apartment even at the risk of your own health because a certain number of years haven't gone by. Their cost benefit analysis is... Your health is expendable but those broken appliances make money by not working for you. The repair people don't take pride in their labor; they are nice guys but do the bare minimum. If they find out that the broken appliance might cause water damage, they will repair immediately but if it has do with your health, they don't hurry, in fact, they don't do anything at all. I can give you all the info; I would be willing to personally meet you and have a friendly conversation about why not to move in. The people who live on the floor below me... They thought it was funny to scare me with their pit bull..Randomly, i don't even know who lives there; they just thought it would be funny to scare someone with a life threatening situation. I have also witnessed a bloody fight on the premises where the guy threatened to shoot the person... Also, the apartment people told me i wouldn't hear the cars from Man O War in the morning. Oh... the traffic wakes me up early every morning. They will say anything to sell an apartment. They are running a cheesy appreciate the tenants week; but in all reality they don't invest your well-being, they invest in their well-being. It comes down to a corporate bottom line with them (fakery). Blue grass energy is also more expensive than most utility companies you are used to so be prepared to pay alot in utilities.
