Apartment Review for The Summit At Brighton Place - Lexington, KY

I'm going to be moving here in the near future so I can only comment on what I've seen. Office staff was friendly and fairly knowledgeable. The condition of the apartments, both the model apartment and one recently vacated, was pretty darn good. No linoleum, all nickel fixtures, the front door has both a deadbolt and a standard doorknob lock, ceiling lights, and I'm not sure what its made out of but the patio is not made from wood! Some kind of material that is flame resistant (so you can have a grill and you won't get splinters!). All apartments have a storage area although the closets are spacious so you might not really need them. The buildings are all about 4 years old so the quality of insulation should be pretty decent. You can actually request maintenance to paint an accent wall for you for about $100. No clue if the service is any good or even worth it, but I thought it was a neat idea. The location is great, right next to the Hamburg Pavilion yet traffic noise seems to be nil. Downside: You have to rent a washer/dryer if you don't own them. The pet rent is really very high and the pet deposit is kind of crazy as well. Especially if you own two declawed cats. The tenant office for copying/faxing, etc, is only open during business hours yet the gym is open 24/7. I'd really like to hear from people who have lived here, though!
