Apartment Review for Villages Of Hamburg Farms - Lexington, KY

Me and my roommates moved in to VHF in Dec of 2007 like most places they bend over backwards to get you in then well customer service goes out the window. We complained a number of times about people not walking their dogs on a leash and nothing was done. Another issue is your heating and cooling bill will be high because they don't have enough insulation in the badly constructed units. The parking is bad at best and they allow people to park anywhere even after sending a notice about parking on the wrong side of the street. The only good thing I can say about the place is our refrigerator broke and the maintenance replaced it right away. The real fun came when we moved out, we moved on a Wen. and they charged us $100 because trash day is Thur. even though trash is included in the rent and people set it out early all the time and nothing is done. Then came charges for a patch for cigrett burns in the carpet that were there when we moved in and noted on our move in / move out sheet, we were not offered a walk through when we moved out when I asked about this they said they don't do that. When I asked why we were being charged when we put it on the sheet I was told we put black marks on carpet not cig burns. If you have any issues with the place you are directed to the corp office which takes weeks if not months to get back with you. My advice for the money you can rent at any other apt complex and be treated better stay away.
